Big Squid Studios proudly produces “The Packed Lunch,” a wildly unconventional animated series that follows the hilarious misadventures of three truly unlikely roommates—a dim-witted troll, a sarcastic robot, and an endearing turtle—as they attempt to navigate and assimilate into the bizarre landscape of modern society. This irreverent comedy shines a light on the absurdities of daily life through the eyes of characters who are spectacularly ill-equipped for it, proving that even the simplest task can become an existential crisis.
WHAT WE DID and CONTINUE TO DO
The genesis of The Packed Lunch sprung from the Studio's desire to merge philosophical observation with anarchic comedy. It is an internal passion project that channels the Studio’s animation and storytelling capabilities into a unique form of social satire. The series is inspired by the perennial struggle of finding meaning and belonging in a fast-paced, often baffling modern world. The Packed Lunch is, at its heart, an exuberant, self-aware series that allows the Studio's team to constantly explore, experiment, and push the boundaries of visual and narrative comedy, directly fueling the innovative spirit we bring to all our client work.
